Oxbow Naturally Committed

Nature is fascinating : a subtle combination of beauty and strength in perpetual motion. Nature gives us amazing sensations, but also gives us big responsibilities.

Our mission is to enable boardriders to turn natural elements into the most magnificent playground. Every product we design has one purpose : to allow every rider to focus on enjoyment and riding sensations, but more than that, not cheating nature means being honest and transparent. It means taking simple and tangible actions such as our Naturally  Committed product range, where for every product environmental impact is measured, minimized and communicated in a fully transparent way.

To ride is to be passionate about nature.

Oxbow Eco Label

In association with Lafuma Group, Oxbow is committed to improving the impact of its products on the environment, through the selection of raw materials, the recyclability of finished products and the optimization of the energy required to manufacture and transport the products.

All our teams, in particular the collection and production teams, work hard to achieve this on a daily basis. To see the proof of Oxbow’s commitment, consumers need to look for a special Naturally Committed Grade ©label. This is a scale used to measure the ecological friendliness of ourt products based on four indicators:

  • Raw materials used in product manufacturing
  • The machine operating time required to manufacture a product
  • The impact of transport
  • The product’s recyclability level

These four criteria are assessed on a scale from 1 to 3 (good enough/good/excellent) to facilitate consumer’s comprehension of the impact that products have on the environment. This label is on all our Naturally Committed products.
