OXBOW along with Na Kama Kai have joined forces in an effort to support three local causes, Kid's Heart Project For Children, victims of the tsunami in Japan, and local families in need, with a free family fun movie night at Kam Drive In in Aiea on September 4, 2011 from 7pm to 10pm.
OXBOW will present the local movie feature Walls Of Perception that highlights local professional surfers. Shot on location in the Hawaiian Islands, France, Tahiti, Australia, and elsewhere, the film brings the surfers talents together in the Marshall Islands where current Stand Up Paddle World Champion Kai Lenny is seen charging 40-plus-foot faces at Pe'ahi and current ASP World Longboard Champion Duane DeSoto shows the audience that big boards fit nicely inside of exotic tubes.
Autograph signings, prizes and featured professional surfing athletes will be at the event. There is a $10 parking fee and gates will open at 5:30pm with Walls of Perception starting at 7pm.
