Winter 2009 Trips - Turkey & Greece

Turkey and Greece: here are the two destinations where the skiers and snowboarders of the Oxbow team rode last winter, filmed by Invert Production and pictured by Elina Sirparanta and Scalp.

Always looking for untraced faces and fresh powder, our riders went first to Turkey, in the Kaçkar Mountains, north-east of the country. In January, during 10 days, they discovered the Turkish culture and enjoyed amazing riding conditions on endless faces!

Delighted by their experience, they decided to fly over to Greece, to challenge the Mount Parnassos, between greek mythology and research of the perfect riding zone.

Those two amazing trips gave us beautiful pictures and videos.

We will meet in 2010, with new trips planned, searching for untraced faces to always push further the Backcountry limits.
